Can't seem to download this. Adobe download assist is supposed to load automatically but absolutely nothing happens when I press "download" for the trial version. Any help appreciated. I've tried it on both my Mac OS X version Plenty of available memory on both machines. I was hoping to get it on my PC as I need to convert some large Microsoft Word files which contain a lot of formatted tables into print ready pdf's. I was hoping that Acrobat XI would eliminate previous conversion problems where some formatting was dropped and fonts missing. I don't want to fork out the dollars without giving it a go first. I get to the "download trial page" and click on the download button I've checked out the trouble shooting which said you had to download Adobe Download Assist but I can't figure how you can do this manually?

I gather it's supposed to happen automatically when you click on the trial download. You need to have an Adobe ID, and you need to follow the instructions step by step, otherwise you will end up with an access denied error. Edit Answer for another minute.
